Taxi Transfer
Taxis are available at the taxi rank outside the arrivals terminal. The fare for the trip to Kissamos is approximately €250-€300, and the ride takes about 2 ½ hours. Taxis in Heraklion are gray with distinctive rooftop signs, and they can carry 3-4 passengers depending on the vehicle type. Be aware of potential waiting times at the taxi rank, which can take 20-30 minutes depending on the season. Note that not all taxi drivers speak English, which could create communication challenges.
